The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is a public service body that has the duty and responsibility to provide services through the provision of statistical data and information. These duties and responsibilities are in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 16 Year 2017 concerning Statistics and Government Regulation Number 51 Year 1999 concerning Statistics Providers.
Monitoring public services needs to be done by BPS in order to improve the quality of data and services provided. Therefore, BPS conducts surveys to find out the needs and satisfaction of consumers with BPS data and services. This survey is called the Data Needs Survey.
In general, the purpose of the 2019 SKD implementation is to obtain evaluation materials from consumers in order to improve the quality of data and statistical information and provide better public services. Specifically, SKD 2019 aims to:
1. Know the data user segmentation;
2. Knowing the type of data needed by consumers;
3. Knowing the level of data user satisfaction with BPS data and services;
4. Provide recommendations for service improvement in PST units at each BPS work unit throughout Indonesia;
5. Knowing the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI);
The data collection or enumeration of the 2019 SKD was carried out in the BPS PST of the Sangihe Regency. The data collection period is February - August 2019.
Respondents in SKD 2019 are consumers who receive services from BPS Sangihe Regency PST units by face to face or come directly to the Sangihe Islands BPS PST units and without face to face either by telephone, facsimile, email, letters, websites, or online statistical services . Consumers who receive services on 1 January 2019 until the end of the enumeration period.
