Supervision of the 2019 PMTB Disaggregation Compilation Survey

Supervision of the 2019 PMTB Disaggregation Compilation Survey

May 8, 2019 | BPS Activities

In the development planning process investment data are needed that are detailed or disaggregated according to institutions, sectors, and types of products or commodities. In 2019, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) once again conducted a Survey on the Formation of Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB).
PMTB or also known as physical investment is one of the main components driving the economy. Investment is also one of the most important variables in the economy because it has a large multiplier effect such as encouraging the increase of national income, encouraging job creation, as well as an equal distribution tool between regions, between sectors and between emperors. The PMTB survey has started from April 1 to June 30. Meanwhile, the sampling technique uses probability sampling techniques with systematic sampling methods. The survey respondents consisted of financial corporations, non-financial corporations, households, governments, and non-profit institutions that serve households.
On May 8-10, 2019, the North Sulawesi BPS BPS Nerwilis Head and staff supervised the activities of the PMTB while it was running in Sangihe Islands Regency. This activity is carried out to strengthen field supervision in PMTB Survey data collection activities and to see field conditions and the progress of activities.
