The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as a public service institution that provides data and statistical information always wants to provide excellent service to consumers. BPS always tries to pay attention to consumer needs for the quality of data and services provided. The quality of data and services can be described by the level of customer satisfaction. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to identify the needs and satisfaction of consumers of the quality of BPS data and services as an evaluation material for the implementation of public services at BPS. Identification of customer needs and satisfaction with the quality of BPS data and services is carried out through the Data Needs Survey (SKD).
In accordance with BPS Head Regulation No. 99 of 2014 concerning Conducting Data Needs Surveys in the Central Statistics Agency, the purpose of SKD is to obtain evaluation material from data users and BPS service users as a support for improving the quality of statistical data and information, as well as improving services provided. The availability of data and statistical information needed by data users needs to be assessed in order to create quality statistical data and information and achieve BPS's vision as a pioneer of reliable statistical data for all. The Directorate of Statistics Dissemination through the Statistics Referral Sub Directorate together with the provincial BPS and BPS districts / cities throughout Indonesia to implement SKD 2020 simultaneously. In order to support the implementation of the survey, a SKD 2020 Briefing was conducted virtually using the zoom meeting application facilitated by the BPS IPDS Sector in North Sulawesi Province where the participants were the Section Head and Staff of the IPDS Section in North Sulawesi Province on Friday, June 12, 2020. This He meant that the implementation of SKD 2020 be directed and well coordinated, so that it can produce data in accordance with the needs of evaluating the implementation of public services at BPS.
