Production Statistics Workshop in the context of Supporting Bureaucratic Reform

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as a government organization that provides basic statistics, certainly wants to always provide the best data for the country, valid, reliable data, as a foothold in government policy making. To realize this, BPS Telad has firm principles in every statistical activity. This principle is reflected in BPS's core values, namely Professional, Integrias and Amanah, which have been in effect since 2011 until now. The measurement results of the implementation of core values show that the core values tend to increase, but the application is still not consistent. This is shown from the results of the 2018 Organizational Culture Survey showing that the level of PIA Implementation generally reached 7.72, which means that BPS has implemented PIA but it has not been consistent. To improve the quality of organizational culture, there needs to be a more implementative Change Management Program; which can be implemented in work units. Therefore, on 8-11 December 2020 BPS North Sulawesi Province conducted a Production Statistics Workshop in the framework of Supporting Bureaucratic Reform which provided guidance to the district / city Change Agent Network related to cultural change, identified important issues relevant to BPS, and could implement these issues into action plans regarding change management in each office, and can create a decision making framework on those issues, which is developed in the action plan.
