Socialization of Population Census in North Nusa Polytechnic

Population Census (SP) is a routine agenda of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) every 10 years which is carried out in the year ending in the number "0", and in 2020 BPS will carry out the 7th population census. Starting the big event, BPS of the Sangihe Islands Regency conducted a socialization on the Population Census on the North Nusa Polytechnic (Polnustar) campus on Thursday, 1 August 2019.

The Sangihe Islands BPS team that provided the information was the head of BPS, the Head of the Social Statistics Section, the Head of the IPDS Section, and the Staff of the IPDS. Acting as the main speaker, Ir. Hendra Tumbelaka as the head of BPS conveyed the socialization and importance of the population census for millennials. The 2020 population census will require the active role of millennials like today's students. Furthermore, material about SP2020 activities was delivered by the Head of the Social Statistics Section, Munawir Kobis, SST and the Head of the IPDS Section, Stanly Mokodompis, S.Sc. And the last material about the Central Statistics Agency was delivered by staff of IPDS, Robin P. Manik, S.ST, M.Sc.
