Briefing on the Formation of the 2020 Census Block

In compiling the census and survey methodology an enumeration area as a sampling unit is needed. The highly varied contents of each SLS / Non SLS cause a more uniform sampling unit to be formed with relatively the same load. For this reason, it is necessary to establish a 2020 senses block (BS2020) as an enumeration area for survey activities for the next 10 years. A more homogeneous area enumeration area makes methodology control easier and reduces estimation bias. The formation of BS2020 is based on maps and content of the results of SP2020 Mapping and Upgrading Activities of 20120 Wilkerstat.

The activity of forming BS2020 is also the responsibility of Regency / City BPS. This activity involves IPDS of regency / city BPS, as the respondent of activities at district / city level. Then the IPDS of the kabupaten / kota BPS conducted a briefing to the officers for the formation of BS2020.

In order for the implementation of the formation of BS2020 to run smoothly and in accordance with predetermined guidelines, the BPS Sangihe Regency on Friday, May 8, 2020 carried out a Briefing for the Formation of the 2020 Remote Census Block to get a similar understanding to processing officers. Understanding of the concept of definition, scope and mechanism of the implementation of activities must be uniform.

This activity is a follow up of the implementation of the training organized by BPS North Sulawesi Province. The briefing was officially opened by the Head of BPS of Sangihe Islands Regency, Ir. Hendra Tumbelaka.
