Susenas Officer Training March 2020

February 3, 2020 | BPS Activities

"The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is important because it is a source of data from various indicators, both indicators in the RPJMN, development targets, and SDG’s. Three national development targets using Susenas data include Poverty, Gini Ratio, and Human Development Index (HDI), "said Head of Sangihe Islands Regency BPS Ir. Hendra Tumbelaka at the opening of the March 2020 Susenas officer training event Wave I at Madina Hotel, Tahuna (3/2).
Even at international meetings at the UN, for example, Susenas has extraordinary meaning. For other countries, Indonesia can collect Susenas data twice a year and can publish poverty figures twice a year until the provincial level is an extraordinary achievement. In other countries, most Susenas data are collected every 3 years. It shows how important the Susenas data is.
Ir. Hendra Tumbelaka advised the participants to take advantage of this training by really absorbing the knowledge taught by the National Instructor, Munawir Kobis, SST. Various obstacles and cases that occur in the field can be discussed material to be solved together.
The March 2020 Susenas Officer Training was divided into two waves, Wave I 3-6 February 2020 and Wave II 6-9 February 2020. Participants of Wave I numbered 21 statistical partners from various sub-districts in Sangihe Islands Regency.
