Abstract

The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) of North Sulawesi in December 2024 increased by 2.56 percent to 119.50 compared to November which was 116.51. The change in the NTP was due to the increase in the Price Index received by Farmers (It) while the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased. The Price Index received by Farmers (It) increased by 1.92 percent while the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.62 percent
The NTP on a Year to Date (YTD) or calendar year basis increased by 5.90 percent. Similarly, the NTP on a Year on Year (YoY) or year-on-year basis also experienced the same increase. The Farmer's Exchange Rate on a YoY basis increased by 5.90 percent.
In line with the NTP, the Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) also increased by 1.75 percent, from 118.79 in November to 120.87 in December.
