Abstract

Of the 90 cities monitored by the national CPI, the highest year on year inflation occurred in Tanjung Selor City at 9.20 percent and the lowest occurred in Ternate City at 3.26 percent.

Conditions in November 2022 Manado City experienced a deflation of 0.31 percent, while calendar year inflation was 3.32 percent and year-on-year inflation was 4.30 percent. In terms of month to month (mtm) inflation, the City of Manado ranks 12th in inflation on Sulawesi Island and ranks 83rd nationally, while on a yoy basis the City of Manado ranks 13th on Sulawesi Island and ranks 84th nationally.

Of the eleven expenditure groups in Manado City, on a year on year basis eight expenditure groups experienced an increase in index, namely the transportation group by 25.44 percent, the personal care and other services group by 5.55 percent, the equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance group by 2.89 percent, the food, beverage and tobacco group by 2.27 percent, the clothing and footwear group by 1.03 percent, the health group by 1.03 percent, the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0 .83 percent and the group providing food and beverages/restaurants by 0.42 percent. Two expenditure groups experienced a decrease in index, namely: the information, communication and financial services group by 2.52 percent and the Recreation, Sports and Culture group by 1.51 percent, while the education group tended to be stagnant.

The biggest contributor to inflation year on year (yoy) in November was air transportation by 1.2068 percent and the biggest contributor to deflation was skipjack tuna/fish scales by 0.1784 percent.

The biggest contributor to deflation on a month to month (mtm) basis in November 2022 was air transportation by 0.1463 percent, while the biggest contributor to inflation was skipjack tuna/fish scales by 0.0621
