Quarterly Micro and Small Industry Survey (IMK) 2025

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Kepulauan Sangihe Regency is again holding a Quarterly Micro and Small Industry Survey (IMK) for 2025. This survey was conducted by directly visiting the sample micro and small business actors, to collect various important information about their business activities in the Sangihe Islands region.

The main objective of this survey is to get to know more closely the conditions and developments of micro and small industries in areas that have potential, including Sangihe. The information collected will later be very useful as a consideration in formulating comprehensive economic policies.

During the survey, field officers will record various data, such as the type of product produced, the economic value of the product, and the amount of production.

The data collection process is carried out digitally using the Fasih Mobile application, which is installed on the officers' cellphones. With this technology, the survey can run faster and more efficiently. After all the data has been collected, there will be further checks by supervisory officers to ensure that the information received is correct and of high quality.

Through this Quarterly IMK Survey, BPS hopes to get a clearer and more complete picture of micro and small industries in the regions. That way, the results can be the basis for making policies that are more appropriate and in accordance with conditions in the field.
