Food Inflation Calculation

Tahuna (25/03), Sangihe Islands Regency BPS received a visit from the Sangihe Islands Regency Regional Food Security Service. During this visit, the Head of the Food Security Service consulted and discussed with BPS Sangihe Islands Regency regarding food inflation.

In this discussion, the Food Security Service wants to know how to calculate food inflation for 10 food commodities. The Head of BPS for Sangihe Islands Regency said that in the formula shown by the Food Security Service, it is necessary to know the source of the weights first so that the resulting figures can later represent Sangihe Islands Regency.
