Tahuna - In improving the quality of service, BPS PS Sangihe Islands Regency held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) of Service Standards on Friday, May 28, 2021. The activity which took place at the BPS Office of Sangihe Islands Regency was attended by Vertical agencies, Regional Apparatus Organizations, and Higher Education Institutions. as a BPS service user.
The implementation of the FGD for the discussion of service standards was based on the Regulation of the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform No. 15 of 2014 concerning Guidelines for Service Standards. BPS as a public service provider is obliged to prepare, determine, and apply Service Standards for each type of service. In this stage, the organizer is obliged to involve the community and related parties so that Service Standards can be known and agreed upon with service users. The hope is that the implementation of services in the BPS Sangihe Islands Regency will be better and can make it easier for users.
Public services held within the BPS are Integrated Statistical Services, where the Integrated Statistical Service Standards within the Central Statistics Agency are stipulated in the Head of BPS Regulation No. Statistics Center. Currently, the services provided by BPS Sangihe Islands Regency are available in the form of direct (offline) and indirect (online) services. Offline service means coming directly to the Integrated Statistics Service (PST) and website-based online services.
In the implementation of the FGD, BPS Sangihe Islands Regency together with the invited agencies discussed the Public Service Standards compiled by BPS based on Perka BPS No.78 of 2020. There are 6 (six) Public Service Standards that are discussed and discussed together. Based on the results of the discussion, it was obtained suggestions / input on service requirements, timeframe, and complaint handling for Sangihe Islands District Service Standards. The activity was ended by the signing of the Minutes of the Discussion which were signed by all the invitees in accordance with PermenPANRB No. 15 of 2014.
