Briefing for KSA Paddy Survey Officers Using CAPI Mode

The agricultural sector is one sector that has an important role in the Indonesian economy. One of the agricultural sub-sectors that has a very strategic role is the food crops sub-sector, which includes rice and secondary crops. The important role of the food crops sub-sector is in meeting the food needs of the Indonesian people.

Considering the important role of the food crops sub-sector, information on food crop production is needed that is accurate and describes the current conditions. One of the important information needed in the calculation of food crop production is the yield per hectare (productivity) that is routinely collected every subround through a Tile Survey.

In 2020 BPS tried to use the CAPI method in the frameKSA-based rice commodity Tile Survey data collection. CAPI is expected to be able to produce accurate, reliable and timely data according to the needs of data users and the government.

On July 29, 2020, a briefing was held for Ubinan Survey officials regarding the use of rice chips in the CAPI mode. The activity was held at the BPS office in Sangihe Regency. By holding this briefing, it is hoped that the staff's understanding of the survey survey and the use of the CAPI mode can be better.
