Focus group discussion Discussion of Sangihe Data in Numbers is an activity carried out by the Sangihe Islands BPS on August 9, 2019, to check the accuracy of the data that has been collected and will be published in Sangihe in Figures publication. This activity was opened by the Regent of Sangihe Islands Regency, represented by Assistant III Mr. Irkhlis Sombounaung. This event was filled by two presenters namely Mr. Ir. Hendra Tumbelaka as the Head and Mr. Stanly Mokodompis as the Head of the IPDS Section BPS of the Sangihe Islands Regency.

Mr. Hendra Tumbelaka explained about the concept of one Indonesian data and the role of each Dinas which is expected to be active in supporting each of its activities, and requested cooperation from each related Office for the implementation of the Population Census later in 2020. While on the occasion Mr. Stanly Mokodompis emphasized more on the data anomaly was found at the time of collecting Sangihe Data in Figures, and asked each service department to understand the importance of data for development. In this activity also launched a new program namely ProMStat (Literacy Literacy Program) which is expected to be a connector between BPS and the Regional Government of Sangihe Islands Regency
